In order to build the education brand of Study in Jiangsu and enhance the international influence of Jiangsu education, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province establishes the Government Scholarship for Studying in Jiangsu to reward and subsidize the outstanding foreign students who are friendly to China and have good character and academic performance.

I. Application Target

Full-time international students of CITG in their second and third year of study.

II. Declaration Requirements

1. They have a friendly attitude towards China, abide by the Constitution and laws, abide by the rules and regulations of school, and pay tuition and related fees in time.

2. Students applying for Study in Jiangsu Government Scholarship should have excellent academic performance and be particularly outstanding in social practice, innovation ability and comprehensive quality. The quantitative criteria for outstanding academic performance are that the student's academic performance and overall assessment ranking of the year are in the top 10% of the grade, and there are no failed subjects.

3. For students who are not in the top 10% in academic performance and comprehensive assessment, but reach the top 30%, they can also apply for Study in Jiangsu Government Scholarship if their performance in other aspects is very outstanding, but they must submit detailed supporting documents. Very outstanding performance in other aspects means particularly outstanding performance in one aspect such as moral and ethical conduct, academic research, discipline competition, innovation and invention, social practice, social work, sports competition, literary and artistic competition. The details are as follows.

(1) Outstanding performance in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, which have a significant impact in our school and region and a great impact in the country. (With proof of local and municipal media publicity or proof of recognition by the school, government, etc.)

(2) Significant achievements in academic research, with papers published by the first author included in SCI, EI, ISTP, SSCI full text.(subject to expert appraisal)

(3) Significant achievements in disciplinary competitions, winning the first prize (or gold prize) or above in professional (discipline) competitions, extracurricular academic science and technology competitions at provincial level or above.

(4) Significant achievements in innovation and invention, scientific research achievements have been awarded at the municipal level or above or have obtained national patents (subject to expert appraisal).

(5) Significant achievements in important literary and artistic competitions, winning the top three in international and national competitions and the first place in provincial competitions, winning honor for the country.

III. Declared quotas and award amounts

The quota for Study in Jiangsu Government Scholarship for Outstanding Students is 1, and the total amount of award is 10,000 RMB.

IV. Evaluation Procedures

1. Fill in the Application Form for International Student Scholarship of CITG truthfully.

2. The class teachers screen the list of qualified students, determine the recommended quota and submit it to International School.

3. The International School sets up a scholarship evaluation committee to review the candidates' materials, recommend candidates and submit them to school for approval.

4. For students who have been awarded the scholarship, if they are found to have falsified or cheated the organization, once verified, the honor will be revoked, the issued scholarship will be recovered, and the corresponding disciplinary action will be taken.
